However, it could get stuck or entangled with smaller and less hefty objects such as shoelaces, USB cables and pens.

The app doesn't have advanced features like multiple cleaning modes or automated scheduling. It supports Alexa but its voice controls don't seem to be very precise or responsive. It's also a bit flaky when it returns to the charging station following a run. Other robots can follow a wall or trace an earlier route however, the RX3 bumbles around until it quits.
We also had issues with the smart features of the device, namely its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones. It was great at keeping our shoes and furniture legs away, but it was easily hanging up on cables, socks and rug. That's why we chose not to include it on our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and a dazzling performance. It's worth considering as an alternative to the traditional uprights.
